PLANNING YOUR JOURNEY

The journey across Colorado’s high plains is part of the experience.

We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes prior to your tee time to allow time for check-in and getting to the first tee.

Address: 34587 I-76 Frontage Rd, Roggen, CO 80652

From the West (Denver): Take I-76 East to Exit 48. Turn left over the highway, then make an immediate left onto Frontage Rd. Continue on this road as it transitions to gravel—this will lead you directly to the entrance gate.

Once through the gate, you will travel just over two miles through pastureland before reaching the parking area.

Speed limit on property: 25 MPH

WHERE TO STAY

Every good day on the course starts with a solid night’s sleep. Below are a few trusted hotel partners offering preferred rates exclusively for Rodeo Dunes guests.

THE LAND

The high plains are a unique, beautiful, and sometimes challenging environment.

We recommend bringing:

  • Sun protection

  • Layers for changing conditions

  • Comfortable walking footwear

The course moves naturally through the dunes. For guests traveling from lower elevations, arriving a day early to acclimate to the altitude can make a big difference.

COURSE CONDITIONS

Much of the turf across the property is less than two years old, and our agronomy program continues to prioritize long-term turf health and establishment.

During your round you may notice:

  • Areas still growing in

  • Occasional seeding

  • Greenkeeping crews working during play

  • Ongoing refinement from our architects

PACE OF PLAY

Please be mindful of your position on the course and limit extended searches for lost balls when possible. Maintaining a steady pace helps ensure everyone enjoys their round.

Rodeo Dunes traverses native grasslands and natural areas that are intentionally left undisturbed. We ask that players respect these areas and avoid prolonged searches in the rough. Wildlife, including rattlesnakes, can occasionally be present in this prairie landscape.

Caddies at Rodeo Dunes

WALKING WITH A CADDIE

Rodeo Dunes is a walking-only course, and many guests choose to play with a caddie. Spending the round alongside someone who knows the land and contours of the course can add a lot to the day.

We recommend requesting a caddie in advance.

Caddies typically carry two bags, and the recommended rate is $150 per bag, paid directly to the caddie in cash at the conclusion of your round.

Rodeo Dunes operates as a cashless facility for on-site purchases, but an ATM will be available for caddie payments.
