HISTORY
CERVI RANCH
For 150 years, the Cervi Ranch has been part of the family, with nearly 50,000 acres where hundreds of horses have roamed freely across the wild landscape. Initially homesteaded by Mike Cervi’s grandfather in the 1850s, the ranch became a cornerstone of Western rodeo heritage.
Since 1958, it flourished under the stewardship of rodeo legend Mike Cervi. Today, the legacy continues under his sons, Chase and Binion Cervi, who carry forward the family’s tradition of excellence in rodeo and livestock management.
In 1967, Mike Cervi acquired the Beutler Brothers Rodeo Company, now known as Cervi Brothers Rodeo Company, and in 1974 he added the Billy Minick Rodeo Company, now named the Cervi Championship Rodeo Company. Mike Cervi was inducted into the Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2003, and the Cervi family continues to produce many of the largest rodeos in the U.S.
Throughout it all, the family’s connection to the remarkable ranch, with its wild and varied landscape, holds true. The bloodlines of the original horses on the property are still linked to those found on the ranch today.
